Welcome back to the Pledge 5 blog!
Last Wednesday marked the first official day of fall, which also means the students at the University of Florida are in full swing with classes, extracurricular activities, and Gator football.
Speaking of students, in this post we would like to inform you about Pledge 5's presence on the University of Florida campus, Pledge 5 Gators. This arm seeks to involve students in our efforts to increase community participation in service. Pledge 5 Gators will be organizing events for students, such as the Pledge 5 Gators Foto Frenzy on Wednesday, September 29 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. As they race through campus to capture pictures at specific locations and hunt for our Pledge 5 human target, teams of students will compete to win prizes such as T-shirts, Caribbean cruises for two, dinner and limo service to Texas Roadhouse for five, and $50 Gator Blink Gift Cards. Prizes will be announced at the Pledge 5 Gators information session that evening at 6 p.m. in the Reitz Union, room 285.
